Our Business Philosophy
Hexis is an ancient Greek word that is synonymous with quality.  In that period of history, hexis meant "the fruit of our experience and labor". Today, HEXIS has become more than a registered trademark: we have adopted it as our business philosophy.

HEXIS was incorporated in 1989 by its current president Michel Mateu. The company achieves 50% of its turnover on its export markets. Today HEXIS products are sold in 40 countries worldwide. To consolidate this growth HEXIS set up several subsidiaries and franchises: HEXIS USA, HEXIS UK, HEXIS ITALIA, HEXIS NEDERLAND and HEXIS FRENCH WEST INDIES.

Each year HEXIS participates at the major professional trade shows: SIGN EUROPE in Düsseldorf, SIGN UK in Birmingham/England, SIGNS ESPAÑA in Madrid, VISCOM in Paris and the ISA Shows in Orlando and Las Vegas.

The introduction of a comprehensive range of digital printing media is the basis for HEXIS' continued growth in the years to come.

HEXIS UK Ltd. was the first HEXIS overseas branch. Founded in 1994 by Scott and Philip Wilkins it covers the United Kingdom and Ireland. The company head office is based in Lichfield near Birmingham in the heart of England and comprises offices, training facilities, a demo room and 7600 sq.ft. of warehousing. HEXIS UK employs 20 staff at the head office and sales representatives in London, the South-East, the North and Scotland.

Efficient order processing, personalized service and excellent product performance have made the success of HEXIS UK. A product guide edited on a regular basis has become a real encyclopedia with sign makers in the UK.

HEXIS USA LLC was formed in 1998 to develop HEXIS sales on the North American continent (United States, Canada and Mexico).

HEXIS USA headquarters and warehouse are located in Corona, California, 50 miles east of Los Angeles. The site comprises offices, a demo room and 12 000 sq.ft. of warehouse space and employs 10 staff. The location was chosen because it gives excellent access to the US West Coast, which has a very strong and fast growing economy.

HEXIS USA is setting up partnerships with several companies who stock and distribute HEXIS products across the United States, Canada and Central America.

HEXIS high performance and intermediate vinyl films have become a real success in the US market because they offer a new class of materials with a wide color range and great appeal to sign makers who appreciate the excellent durability in extreme climates from Alaska to the deserts of Nevada. In addition, the materials offer exceptional value to distributor and end users. Their superior appearance and performance ensure the success of the HEXIS brand name.
